Career Center Staff

Dr. Easom received her Doctorate in Organization Development and Change in 2025 and her Master of Education with a concentration in Workforce Development in 2014, both from Bowling Green State University. She also attended Valdosta State University, where she earned a B.B.A. in Economics in 2011. While attending Valdosta State, she helped charter the institution’s Phi Beta Lambda chapter and later became the organization’s first president. She was also an active member of Students in Free Enterprise and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.

Dr. Lauren Easom, serves as the Executive Director of Student Success & Career Development at Georgia College & State University. With a wealth of experience exceeding ten years in the field of Career Development, she has undertaken a variety of pivotal roles throughout her career journey. In her previous role at the Wyoming Department of Education, Dr. Easom was responsible for the oversight of the state's Career Development initiatives, Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs), and Career and Technical Demonstration Project Grant. Additionally, she has a background as an Upward Bound Director and Career Development Specialist under The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act. Lauren is deeply passionate about Career Development within the realm of higher education. She recognizes its crucial role in offering students valuable opportunities and experiences that can shape their futures.

Christine earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from Northeastern Illinois University and completed her Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing – Poetry from Georgia College & State University.

Christine serves as the Assistant Director for Pre-Professional & Graduate School Planning, where she is dedicated to supporting students in their pursuit of graduate and professional programs. In her current role, Christine coordinates the Career Center's Career Planning Milestones initiative, and her team also oversees the GC in DC Legislative Internship Program. Prior to that, she worked in Academic Advising and the Bridge Scholars Program at GCSU.

Daniella earned her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from Georgia College & State University in 2019, with concentrations in Mass Communication, English, and Psychology. She went on to complete her Master of Public Administration at Georgia College & State University in 2024.

Daniella has been part of the Georgia College & State University Career Center since 2017, starting as a student assistant before becoming an Internship Coordinator in 2019. In her current role on the Employer Relations & Internships team, she works closely with employers and faculty to support internships and full time opportunities and serves as the program coordinator for the Disney College Program. She also leads the Career Center’s marketing and social media efforts.

Dani received a Bachelor of Arts in History from Gordon State College and completed her Master of Library and Information Science at Valdosta State University.

Dani serves in the Career Center’s Pre-Professional and Graduate School Planning team as a Career Development Coordinator II. She helps advise undergraduates, graduate students, and alumni in career planning. She also helps employers learn more about how they can recruit at Georgia College & State University.
